{win a pair of Murano lamps}

Ed Sexton of Swank Lighting sent me a lovely e-mail with some great news: to celebrate the opening of their Dallas showroom and the launch of their website, the partners are giving away a pair of Barovier & Toso lamps:

"They’re among the crown jewels of the cache we found in the warehouse at E.P.Paul Company. They are a rich, deep raspberry at the bottom with a creamy white at the top, and loads of 24 kt. gold dust sprinkled throughout. The solid wood bases have been gold leafed. "

These beautiful Murano lamps are valued at $3,400 and a
ll you need to do to qualify is click here and fill out the registration form with your name, state/province and e-mail address.

The draw will be held on January 18, 2008 at the showroom in Dallas.

{Good luck!}

Patrica, an orange one sounds lovely. I've been eyeing a pink set or the black & white striped ones. Good luck with the contest!

Hello Melissa and Creative Flair! Thank you both for the lovely well-wishes before my trip and the warm welcome back. It was a busy, busy 3 days, but so much fun--I have some really great photos, but since we only got in at 2:30am yesterday morning, I haven't had the chance to upload them from my camera yet. Maybe tomorrow? Good luck with the contest, both of you! And CFC, I think it is open to people outside of North America? I saw something on their site that said shipping for the winner of the draw was free in North America, but not internationally . . .

Not at all, Joni--and I think we have more than a few things in common, including our love of all things French and our love for our dogs :) Nice to hear you've been lurking, but even nicer that you're officially coming out of hiding! (And of course, I'll do the same :) Also noticed that I somehow missed linking you--will fix that right now.

Thank you all for the kind words. We love making people smile. Wish we could just give lamps away all the time. But, our doggie likes to eat. By the way, the chest is a Dorothy Draper Espana. Lots of info on her on google.
thanks again and good luck.
