{travel: lake placid}

Spent part of last weekend in Lake Placid, where fresh mountain air, a cozy chalet, a gondola ride, and dinner overlooking Mirror Lake chased away any traces of the past whirlwind week.

All these magical places makes me realize people should spend less money on materialism and spend them on going places instead, that would enrich their lives soooo much more!

That looks like a dreamy place to relax and unwind! Wow, so beautiful and peaceful. I want to plunk right down in that chair. The sunlight streaming in is lovely.

Enjoy another weekend, wherever you spend it!

I went here for camp (YoungLife, I think)years ago during high school. It's amazing. I particularly remember para-sailing around the lake; my goodness, so beautiful.

I love Lake Placid. I remember being in a canoe on that lake early one morning with a friend of mine. Heaven.
