{marchesa fall 2009 rtw - new york}

The scaled-back fashion week events didn't stop Marchesa from creating a fairyland of "dream-woven dresses" at the Chelsea Art Museum with ribbons, silver roses, sequins, and swaths of tulle -- perhaps now more than ever, is the perfect time for dreams . . .

The model on the left looks like her feet turned purple from the pain from the shoes :(

I love the shoes though, very cute.

I ADORE Marchesa! Look at these dresses, dream-woven in deed! The skirt on the second dress is other-worldly..

So so so pretty---I would LOVE to see a wedding inspired by these creations.

Though I will say that usually I don't care if models are super slim---but the girl on the right seems a little TOO skinny even by model standards. Makes it hard to concentrate on the dress---Yikes!

It's important to have some fairytale aspects to your life. Marchesa gets that. We do too and are creating that atmosphere at our store.
