Sorry for the inconvenience…
You can actually eat out of that? I'd be scared to. lol
exquisite! There is something so elegant and dramatic about gold leaf adorned things...I love it :-)
I've been noticing similar bowls myself recently, divine. Happy Easter!
gorgeous and not overpriced, what a great find. thank you for sharing this with us!
Gosh, those are excellent! I think they would add so much luster to a room!
I loove this company, especially the dishes with just the rim lined in gold, so pretty!
now those are one fine piece of art!
Those look so fragile. They are great to look at, but I'd image they would shatter or crack if you put anything in them. Has anyone ever tried one of these bowls?
oh wow i love these! x
SoftSpoken -- quote from the company's website, "Despite their delicate form, they're surprisingly durable" . . .
Papier mache is one of my favourite throw-back crafts! There's something so satisfying about creating something both structured and delicate out of scraps of paper and glue...Of course I've never made anything this lovely! I'm more from the 'pinatas and lumpy inarticulate shapes' school of papier mache.
This would be perfect in my dining room...the ceiling is metallic gold :-)
Oh, how lovely! So delicately beautiful.
oooohhh i love!
Love those. Q: I wonder how difficult it would be to make something like that? A: probably a lot more tricky than I think - except I have huge stashes of gold leaf lying around!
What an interesting way to use gold leave!Stunning.-J.
