{at the shops: crucial trading}

. . . back after a spontaneously extended and beautiful weekend away and always delighted to discover new shops with great products, but even more so with equally lovely photography -- two current favourites being Plumo {and here}and Toast, and now have happily discovered the very British Crucial Trading, a creative floorcoverings and rugs company whose gorgeous photography is a captivating mix of a fashion editorial and a brisk and blustery afternoon curled up beside a warm and romantic fire . . .

. . . more at a glamorous little side project

The photo of the worn chair with a stack of books, (just like home here), reminds me that soon it will be time to move indoors. It's a little sad... but there will be fires and reading and red wine and dinner parties and candles. Now all I need is that gorgeous gold shift. Thank you for sharing beauty.

These are the most delightful details in these photos. From the stack of books to the stack of firewood to the knee-high wooly leggings--swoon!

Oh, this photography...I want to step inside that world and dance upon that lovely textile bare footed in a pink designer slip dress. I feel that maybe this is the feeling the company wanted to invoke. Thank You for sharing this. It made my week thus far!
