I absolutely adore feathers in decor! All of these images are so lovely! I love the canopied bed with feathers.
Once when I was 8 years old, my Tante Maria was visiting our rural New England home from Munich. The first morning after her arrival, our bird feeder was filled with noisy blue jays. My aunt had never seen one, and fell in love with the blue feathers. Over the course of her five week visit, we gathered enough molted feathers from various birds, including a pheasant, for her to make an exquisite pin. I think my love affair with feathers began with that treasure hunt, and continues to this day. Thank you for the beautiful post, and for bringing back a lovely memory...

Does anyone know where the image of the model in the feather top is from? I see the photo credits at the bottom, but am soo confused. If anyone knows the photographer or model, I would be so grateful...this is all so lovely!
I love feathers -- such a whimsical addition to home + fashion. I think that my favorite is feathers in a vase...although, we were playing with feathers on day, and kind of worked them into a 4 ft. vase made of fine sticks. It looks pretty chic! Pretty post :)
