{inspiration: vintage brooch bouquets}

. . . have come across vintage flower brooches many times in quaint little shops on the way out of the city, and while have thought to group pretty clusters on the lapel of a boyfriend blazer, had never thought to fashion them into utterly enchanting and everlasting bouquets . . .

Those are amazing! I've used my grandmothers' antique brooches as napkin rings and have a charm bracelet that incorporates some vintage lovelies but I've never seen anything like these bouquets. Nice to come across something so original.

Beyond love on this idea! I used three vintage rhinestones brooches from My mom, Grandmother and Greatgrandmother and had them attached to a victorian brass frame and it looks very nice and means alot to me. Wouldn't it be amazing to create a centerpeice? Oh my... I need to get my brooches out and hat pins! Thank you!!

What a gorgeous post! I love the brooch bouquet, just as beautiful as the actual thing, and it will never wither and die. Btw, I added your link on my list of "Stylistic Bloggers." Let me know if you decide to exchange links. Thanks and have a great week!

oh, this is a lovely idea; a wedding bouquet that will last forever... it's almost symbolic, isn't it? these are really beautiful, and one wouldn't have to worry so much about fragile flowers on the big day. one would have to a bit careful when throwing the bouquet though!

I'd love to do this with my brooch collection! I couldn't bear tossing this bouquet though! Maybe a smaller one with less-special brooches.

I've been collecting brooches for the past couple of years (having become obsessed with all the different styles at a random flea market). This is perfect for my spring wedding and I love the personal touch...I would NEVER have thought of this...USING IT!!
