{two lovely things: smokey violet & chevron floors}

{two lovely things}: whether in velvet on dining chairs and intermingling with mirrors and chandeliers, or in linen on an elegantly casual sofa and paired with perfectly paneled walls and luxurious gilt french mirrors, there is nothing quite like the stunning combination of smokey violet and always classic chevron floors . . .

{p.s.} utterly enchanted
by the mirrored wall with the secret door

Crystal chandeliers and French gilt mirrors are two of my favorite things in the world, and {this is glamorous} is always so wonderful about featuring these elegant touches.

This is very glam without a doubt! The pivot door adds a little mystery

FIT sofa!
Am rubbish at the whole adjectives thing, but I would be the happiest girl in the world if I had that sofa on a hardwood floor... and nothing else but a glass of wine to curl up with :)

I die over chevron and herringbone wood floors, and that little touch of violet is so stunning! Beautiful images.

I cannot get over that second space — the room is perfection..the mirror, the flooring, the sofa. So South of France and comforting. This image is certainly going into the inspirational files.

Thank you :)

I love seeing these images through your eyes! Great editing to put the two spaces together. Makes me appreciate the beauty all the more.

Thank you kindly for the mention. Glad to know you enjoyed the post.

Have a lovely weekend-nelya

I am loving the violet and chevron - would have been more fun if they'd painted the wood floors white and grey (alternating), don't you think?!

I wrote about amethyst colors myself here, I invite you to check it out!

if only we could all live like this!

One of my favourite quotes: "Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." William Morris.

I try, but don't always succeed!
