{in the bedroom: summer whites}

. . . the sultry days of summer have arrived and it has been hot, hot, hot and positively living in pretty summer dresses and upswept hair, and in the evenings, the duvet with its lovely lacy trim becoming far too heavy and we're dreaming, dreaming, of draping everything in romantic mosquito netting and saturating the bermuda teal walls in enchanting shades of crisp summer white . . .

{p.s.} don't you just adore the crochet bedcover?

I just sat down, glass of wine in hand, and excitedly came here to one of my favourite blogs. Visiting you is like flipping through the pages of a favourite magazine! What a beautiful summer inspiration here....I'm craving white on white, so refreshing! The 3rd photo looks like an angelic white cloud of summer dreams.

In summertime, I want my bed stripped down to nothing but soft white sheets & a good breeze.
Pure white doesn't have to mean plain and your lovely selection proves the point.
The crochet bedcover is very pretty indeed.
I just love your blog! Have a cool & restfull weekend.

Oooo, that crown/moulding! It has certainly sealed the deal for me. I love this idea -- and might just have to try it myself. I adore the photos you find and put together, Roséline -- they have just the right amount of beauty and some element that makes them so special. (at the very least one!) I love that.

It's incredibly warm here as well, and I have been wearing a chignon, dresses, rompers, tanks and shorts. Keep cool :)

If I had to pick one, it'd be the crochet bedcover. So adorable and romantic.

Elegant white bedroom spaces are so peaceful and soothing. I'm in love with Cyrus Co beds. Their entire collection is incredible.

I love the crown in the second picture above the bed. Very regal looking amongst the white linen.

we're having cold nights here in the southern hemisphere and I love it! Not looking forward to the hot nights but that crocheted cover would certainly make things easier.
