{colour inspiration: sea green & summer white}

mrsblandings2. . . a kelly green cashmere cardigan from a lifetime ago aside, not often drawn to shades of green -- that is -- until happening upon these serenely elegant rooms overflowing with prettily patterned chaises and ruffled bed linens, elegant topiaries and cascading bouquets -- and suddenly -- the shade is as a fresh the summer air just before an early august thundershower, and believe am now quite enamoured with this perfect shade that hangs somewhere just between chartreuse and the leaves of gardenias . . .

{p.s.} more inspiration:
* spring greens
* chartreuse & velvet
* green & white stripes

- My dreams are filled with soft, mossy-green dells and feathery, verdant ferns. Green; so fresh with white and then --later-- so spectacular with mahogany.
You've inspired me gather an armful of ornamental grass to fill the vase beside my bed...

SO beautiful. I absolutely love that dining room. In fact, I could see it subbing in for my dream dining room, which currently consists of cream walls, cream chairs with navy blue seat covers, and one accent wall of wallpaper with birds {and splashes of navy}. I am not at all a fan of baby blue or any other kind of blue in the home, but navy just does it for me. And now, clearly, so does kelly green!

How was NYC, sweet pea?
