. . . high-heeled shoes and cupcake wrappers, mirrored dressers and vintage sconces -- always and irresistibly drawn to all things gold, and especially when intermingled with shades of lilac . . .

You have such a way of selectively choosing the most glamorous photos that speak volumes. From the lovely shoes sitting on that white frothy rug speaking of the glamorous trip to come, to the breathtaking lilac walls and mirrored console (yum) and antique venetian mirror (double yum) and then to the gold cupcake liners, making sweet little cupcakes extraordinary. So, so beautiful. Thanks for giving us such beauty to start our day, darling.

Oh the glorious swing season... the dusty plums and velvet maroons paired with gold and blackened brass. Beautiful post R. And isn't this just the loveliest time of the year? I enjoy playing with these colors in garden design too... so alluring and seductive...

Such pretty images together -- the first is styled so well, love the glamour of the second, and the daintiness of the third. How sweet are those cupcakes? It would be lovely to create a tea party with this look and feel!

Such inspiring images, and the way you put them together makes the inspiration even stronger, I think.
