{décor inspiration: sheer opulence}

. . . while it may be wonderful to explore the possibilities in the clean lines of minimalist and modern interiors, at the end of it all, it always comes back to the luxe warmth and sheer opulence of intricate inlaid floors and elegant chaises, breathtaking wall murals and tufted chesterfields, delicately carved and paneled walls and gold & crystal chandeliers, enveloped by yards of pooling drapery and autumn evenings spent perched on leopard print cushions by fire . . .

Beautiful Images. I love color, but I love the neutral tones in my own home. Just perfect.
Have a nice day.

I'm normally not a huge fan of ornate but these more subtle images are fabulous. Especially love that beautiful first interior. And am in love with Suzann Rheinstein's new apt!

So beautiful!

Each image is a surprise... I cannot get over images 02 + 07 -- so incredible! I definitely want to find an ornate frame and paint it the same color as my room -- white :) It might be fun to tuck in a single postcard or maybe a feather... I don't know, but I love the thought. The possibilities are endless!

Thank you for another inspiring post, lovely Roséline,
