{fashion inspiration: dark sequins & gunmetal}

. . . when it comes to sequins, absolutely adore them all, and at any time of day, but always and especially drawn to the glittery gold ones best, and especially with champagne on a saturday night . . . that is, until recently, and now lately quite taken with dark sequins -- perhaps it is the festiveness of halloween or late-october's blustery, overcast skies, but whatever the reason, glimmering shades of slate and cobalt, black and navy, are suddenly altogether too bewitching to resist . . .

Georgeous post, filled with sparkle and so many gorgeous things! I, too, love sequins. I love both the gold/champagne colors and the silver. They kind of remind me of the magic of my favorite fireworks on the fourth of july -- the gold ones are like those golden sparkly fireworks that burst from the sky in magic glittery fingers and the silver ones are like the fireworks that shoot up to the sky and burst into silver glitter, sprinkling to earth. Have a wonderful and sparkling weekend, darling! xo

I just love sequins, and this post is just too pretty for words! you have me re-thinking my blush sequined dress now—I might try it with my pewter/silver blazer. Thanks, Roséline :)
