{travel | the pink fountains of lisbon, portugal}

We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.

. . . the list of places still to visit grows by the moment, but one place that can hardly believe have missed [too many visits to paris, perhaps?], is one of the world's oldest cities, lisbon, if for no other reason than to make a wish at the stunningly lovely and impossibly romantic pink fountains . . .

* barcelona, spain
* château de vaux-le-vicomte, maincy, france

Nothing wrong with too many visits to Paris! Although judging by the pictures, Lisbon is just as worthy of a destination. Hope you are able to visit one day :)

Yes, Lisbon is a city of fountains, although sadly most no longer have water. You found a couple of the nicest ones and if you want to see more and know the history behind all of them, see this list: http://www.lisbonlux.com/magazine/10-monumental-drinking-fountains-in-lisbon/
