. . . the list of places still to visit grows by the moment, but one place that can hardly believe have missed [too many visits to paris, perhaps?], is one of the world's oldest cities, lisbon, if for no other reason than to make a wish at the stunningly lovely and impossibly romantic pink fountains . . .

Nothing wrong with too many visits to Paris! Although judging by the pictures, Lisbon is just as worthy of a destination. Hope you are able to visit one day :)
