. . . for the past few weeks, have been searching for the perfect pair of topiaries to place on the front terrace, on either sides of the front door -- bay, olive, evergreen; a little rustic or perfectly manicured, there are so many possibilities, and with that, the longing to bring the pretty little trees indoors as well, or perhaps, create an entire enchanted forest . . .

I love the myrtle trees, i saw it for the first time a long time ago in a dutch interior magazine. So good to see this again Roséline, would be nice on my desk. I also searching for the flowers i want to plant, can't wait to "get my hands dirty" and to work outside the cottage of my boyfriends family.

Three weeks ago I purchased a lovely lavender topiary. Today I returned it to the nursery as it "passed away". Obviously it was unhealthy from the start. Now I'm on the lookout for a very healthy replacement. Love your post.
