Felicity remembers Miss Roséline's very first post a number of years ago. Felicity's first introduction to the world of blogging was when she stumbled across this post in {this is glamorous}. Ever since then she has watched TIG blossom and grow into the much loved blog you now are now reading. She has so many favorite posts in {this is glamorous}, that there are too many to list, but a couple of them are found here and here. Roséline's eye for glamorous elegant finds, makes her smile, especially when she places them in her multi-image colour themed posts. She has also very much enjoyed the addition of Laily's favorite five posts & Sarah's weekly travel finds.

She encourages you to settle in with a box of Ladurée macarons & your favorite tea and wander through the treasure trove of images hidden in the archives of this lovely blog.

You'll be so glad you did.

Hugs FXOXO

| favourite five, an interview series

Laily lives in New York City, although her mind often wanders across the Atlantic. Her love for all things beautiful started at a young age when she spent afternoons going through her grandmother's antique jewelry collection. A lover of French provincial decor, letterpress stationary, tea sandwiches and simple yet elegant couture, Laily will never refuse a macaron and believes that happiness can be found within bundles of ranunculus or sweet williams. She overlooks a film's plot for aesthetic and cinematography and loves old black & white family photos. She divides her attention between two men: her husband and her puppy, Bear.

In mid-November of 2010, Laily left a two-year position with the United Nations to pursue personal and creative endeavours, becoming a correspondent with {this is glamorous}, contributing to the popular weekly series, {favourite five}. Shortly after writing her first feature for the series, a piece on floral stylist, Denise Porcaro, Laily was offered the opportunity to handle the social media & blogging for Flower Girl, NYC

sarah, contributor, vancouver | take me away, a travel series

Even as a girl, Sarah spent hours curling up with her Mother in their home library, exploring fashion and décor magazines, reading Jane Austen novels, and looking through beautiful books. She could often be found drawing up floor plans and space planning, vintage and antique shopping, dreaming of enchanting gowns or watching Audrey Hepburn films. Preferring European style, authentic patina and old world pieces, Sarah’s love of charming and lovely things started young. In fact, she began collecting vintage and antique pieces in her pre-teen years—from teacups and gloves to furniture, admiring the history and traditions of a bygone era. Don’t be fooled, though, Sarah is quite eclectic and enjoys the juxtaposition between that which is ornate and decorative, and modern, classic lines.

Educated in design and marketing, Sarah has a great deal of experience in the realm of design, decorating and retail. She enjoys writing, travel, bike riding, boutique shopping, and exploring her beautiful city with her soul mate. Considered approachable and warm, if you meet her on the street, she’s likely to engage you in lively conversation.
